Self Care Focus: It Just Grows On YouBy Jo Cavanaugh
Are you amazed at how quickly you fall into a routine? They say that it only takes twenty-one days to create a new habit. I guess it just grows on you. That is about the same amount of time it takes a seed to sprout and grow into a full plant.
When you look at habits in the same way as a seed that it planted, it's easy to see that some seed are weeds and some are beautiful flowers. What seeds or habits have you been planting lately?
If it only takes twenty-one days to develop a habit then it figures that it will take the same amount of time to create a new habit or routine to replace the old habit. With thirty-one days in March that means that you can plan and relax until March 9th.
On March 10th I would like to hear about all of the new habits that you are planting in your life. Send me an email and we can share as we nurture and grow our new habits. I plan on increasing my exercise and really getting serious about yoga.
Let me know what seeds you are planting this March.

Self Care Tip
It's March and time to plan on where and when you are going to go kite flying. If you haven't watched the kites at your local park, take some time to plan an outing as the weather turns warmer.
Still too cold to think about kites and outdoor activities? Then plan a picnic and have a concert provided by the radio, a record, or cd. Don't wait to enjoy music and the relaxed atmosphere of a picnic. Treasure the times you have.
